What does white label mean at Mondo?

White label means the product stays the same and the brand changes. Mondo produces the item it already makes; you supply the brand. That is the difference with private label, where the product or packaging is developed to your specification.

What is agreed per partner?

Minimum quantities per product, label and packaging options, lead time for the first run and for reorders, prices and payment terms are agreed per partner. None of these are published. Ask for the minimum per product early: it decides how many variants you can launch with.

Keep claims off the label

As brand owner, you are responsible for what your label and product pages say. Mondo’s products are sold for mycological research, educational, horticultural or souvenir purposes, to adults (18+). Health or therapeutic claims, also on microdosing products, create legal risk for you. Dutch law allows the sale of fresh truffles but prohibits dried truffles and magic mushrooms, and other countries have their own rules; check the legal status per country. This is not legal advice.

Questions about white label

Can I choose which grow kit strains go under my brand?

Strains listed on the Mondo site include Golden Teacher, McKennaii, B+, PES Hawaii, Thai and Jack Frost, among others. Which strains are available for your white label line is agreed when you set up the project.

Does Mondo’s name appear on my product?

That depends on what is agreed and on what must legally be stated on the pack in your countries. Discuss this when you agree the label.

What is the difference with private label?

White label uses an existing Mondo product under your name. Private label involves your own product specification or packaging design and takes more preparation.

Can Mondo ship white label products to my customers?

Yes, that is what fulfillment is for. The scope is agreed per partner.

Can I start small?

Minimums are agreed per partner, so ask for them in your application. If the minimum is too high for now, wholesale under the Mondo brand is a way to test demand first.
