This wholesale FAQ answers the questions shops, webshops, distributors and brands ask before and after they open an account with Mondo Mycologicals. Where something is agreed per partner, such as minimums, prices or lead times, the answer says so instead of giving a number that would not apply to you.
Who can open a wholesale account? Businesses that resell or use the products professionally: smartshops, headshops, growshops, webshops, distributors and wellness or microdosing brands. Consumers buy through Mondo’s consumer webshop, Mondo Growkits, not through the wholesale channel.
How do I apply? Fill in the form on the become a partner page, or choose “B2B Account Request” in the contact form. Tell us what kind of business you run, which countries you sell in and which products you are interested in.
Why can’t I see prices on the website? Prices are only visible to approved partners. After approval you see your partner prices in the B2B order portal.
How do I place an order? Approved partners order through the B2B order portal at mondoeurope.brincr.com. Your partner prices are shown there, and you order all product groups in the same place.
Is there a minimum order or fixed payment term? Minimum order quantities and payment terms are agreed per partner. You see them in the portal after approval, or you ask for them during the application.
What can I order as a business partner? Fully colonised grow kits, all-in-one grow bags, magic truffles, microdosing truffles, psilocybin spores for microscopy, liquid cultures, mushroom tinctures and grow tools. The current range is shown in the order portal.
Which grow kit strains are available? The Psilocybe cubensis strains listed on the site include Golden Teacher, McKennaii, B+, PES Hawaii, Penis Envy, Treasure Coast, JMF and True Albino Teacher, among others. The full list is on the grow kits page. Not every strain is in production at every moment, so check what you can order when you place it.
Are the products made by Mondo? Mondo has produced in-house in Purmerend, the Netherlands, since 2009. How that production works is explained on the quality and production page.
How long do the products keep? That depends on the product. Fresh truffles and liquid cultures are perishable and need refrigeration, while grow kits and bags are living products that should be sold on without long storage. Ask for the current storage guidance per product when you order.
Where do you ship to? Mondo ships from the Netherlands to business partners across Europe. Delivery times and shipping costs depend on destination and order size and are agreed per partner; see shipping and delivery for how orders travel.
Do I pay Dutch VAT on my order? Not if your business is in another EU country and your VAT number is valid in VIES: the invoice then shows no Dutch VAT and you declare the VAT in your own country (reverse charge). Dutch businesses, and buyers without a valid VAT number, pay Dutch VAT on the invoice. The shipping and delivery page has the full table.
Are there customs formalities inside the EU? No. There are no customs duties at the borders between EU member states. National product rules in your country still apply, so free movement of goods does not make a product legal where it is not.
Can you ship outside the EU? Ask before you order. Shipments outside the EU go through customs, import duties and VAT may apply at destination, and local law decides whether the products may be imported at all.
Is it legal to sell these products in my country? In the Netherlands, grow kits, spores and mycelium are not controlled substances and the sale of fresh magic truffles is not prohibited. Dried truffles are prohibited, and so are magic mushrooms, fresh and dried (fresh ones since 1 December 2008). In other countries the rules differ, and the buyer is responsible for checking local law. See the overview on legal status in Europe; this is not legal advice.
What purposes are the products sold for? Mondo sells its products for mycological research, educational, horticultural or souvenir purposes, to buyers aged 18 and over. Spores are sold for microscopy.
Will Mondo tell me what I may sell in my market? Mondo can tell you how products are classified in the Netherlands, but cannot give legal advice for your country. Check with a local lawyer or authority before you list a product, and do not stock products that are prohibited where you sell.
Can I sell the products under my own brand? Yes. With white label, an existing Mondo product goes out under your brand. With private label, the product or its packaging is specified with you and made for your brand. Which products and quantities are possible is agreed per partner.
Do you offer dropshipping? Yes. With dropshipping, you sell in your own webshop and Mondo ships each order from the Netherlands directly to your customer. How orders are passed on and which products are included is agreed when you join.
Can I get exclusive rights for my region? Exclusive regional partnerships are one of the models Mondo offers. The terms depend on your region, volume and range, and are agreed per partner.
Do you offer microdosing concepts for wellness brands? Mondo offers white-label microdosing truffle concepts named Balance, Focus and Advanced for wellness brands, coaches and retreat organisations.
